A MONUMENT SIGN is installed on a brick, stucco, or stone base. It requires an engineered plan showing a “footer” detail. A hole is dug, and angle iron is installed within it. A building inspector must approve the base before setting a vertical pole (that acts as a saddle). Then the concrete “footer” is poured. The sign slides down upon the saddle, and the base is finished out with your choice of textures or finishes.
